The Back Alley concept was actually born in the 1970's as a small section in the back of a larger department store.  The department store was a refurbished bowling alley, thus the name "The Back Alley".  In the summer of 1979, Back Alley became a store of it's own.   Over the last 25 years Back Alley has grown to four stores in the Valley and looks forward to more stores in the coming years.

You can expect new inventory every weekend.  Each of our stores maintains weekend hours but are closed during the week.  We spend that time introducing 30+ products into the store every week.  We average about 250 items on-hand each weekend at a savings up to 80%!

You can also expect friendly service - the kind you rarely experience today.  You won't have someone thrust your change back to you without even a mumbled "thanks".  At Back Alley, we count your change back and say "thank you" like we mean it - because we do!  Expect a warm welcome from friendly employees and assistance to your car if needed.  As you become a regular weekend customer (as most Back Alley customers are), you can count on the employees to recognize you by name.  Back Alley appreciates our customers and customer service is a top priority at each of our stores.
